Scientists recognized for identifying faulty gene behind devastating disease, development of precision-targeted therapies
On December 10, 2015 Warren Alpert Foundation Prize recipient, Tu Youyou, accepted the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. Professor Tu received the Alpert Prize for work that led to the development of the malaria drug Artemisinin.
